Our welcoming, inclusive and friendly student and staff community is particularly important to us in the Department of Chemistry.
Learn about our dedicated teaching hub and world class research facility, and hear from some staff and students virtually, through our videos below.
Our campuses
South Kensington
South Kensington is our main campus and it is here that most undergraduate teaching activity takes place in our dedicated, world class teaching hub.
The campus is a compact site in the heart of 'Albertopolis' and is home to a huge range of architectural styles as well as beautiful landscaped green space, with our famous Queen's Tower at the heart of campus.
Our students spend most time in the Chemistry Building, with access to a range of faciltiies, workspaces and common room, as well as access to our helpful undergraduate office contacts and teaching fellows!
Molecular Sciences Research Hub
In 2018 many of the Department's activities moved into a custom-built facility at Imperial's new White City Campus. This landmark building has been designed to support our vision for chemistry. It gives us the additional space and flexible infrastructure needed to realise the potential for major advances in the chemical and molecular sciences.
All our students' final year research projects take place in this amazing facility - the most expensive Chemistry building in the world - where we are actively investing in your future.
